This site is dedicated to the memory of Robert Osborn.

Ossie, as he was known to many, was our beloved Dad. He was first diagnosed with Lung Cancer in October 2011. At that time neither my sister nor I, our Mum or our Granny thought he would go as quickly as he did. Our Dad was the loveliest man you could ever hope to meet. Wise, funny and very handsome. He adored all his girls, including his black lab Nell! In September 2012 a group of us completed the Three Peaks Challenge raising over £7,500 for Roy Castle. That night, we all had a celebratory meal. Dad was on fine form and he was so proud of what we'd achieved for him and the charity. My sister and I remember the night being full of laughter. Sadly, Dad passed away four months later after an extremely brave fight. There was no more he could have given. On the day after my Wedding, the 2nd June 2013, some close friends of the family held an auction called 'Ossie's Lunch'. A massive £9,639 was raised for Roy Castle in Dads name. This, along with £2,000 raised from donations after Dads funeral, means that with the help of friends and family, we have raised nearly £20,000 for Roy Castle. My sister and I felt it was about time we set-up a trust fund in Dads name to be able to continue our fundraising and keep his memory alive. Dad never gave up so neither will we.
